I could speak on this project for hours as it was deeply formative, however, I’ll save that for later. At the start of the pandemic, my company (digital production studio) had a problem. We couldn’t shoot in person content. Past Your Bedtime was a solution I provided: a remotely-shot, TMZ-style news show covering Gen-Z TikTok culture that aired on Snapchat. The conveniently-timed escalation of Charli D’Amelio’s stardom provided ample catalyzing fodder for the content I was writing, and over the course of the year, I earned 1.4 million subscribers after a hundred and some episodes. Extremely proud of the work our team did on this. Producing quality 5-10 minute news episodes on a 24 hour deadline had a steep learning curve, but we certainly got through it.

A few years back, I ran into some of the aforementioned TikTokers that I covered daily in tabloid fashion for a year of my life and managed to get a picture. Josh and Anthony of the Sway House. I apologized to them for the content, and they laughed and said it was good for their careers. Life is funny.
