This was another fun one. As an aspiring Disney Channel, our company knew we needed a music-wing churning out radio-friendly bops sung by popular teens on Instagram. This project, “No Brakes” as sung by Sophie Michelle, was an early foray into that world, and we had the pleasure of doing so with our sponsor Nike, who purchased the pitch I put together for the music video. The song continues to be a winner when I play it at social gatherings, and I was humbled to receive my first corporate gift from Nike in the form of size 10.5 Air Max Reacts.
